About us
Founded in 1942, the Philadelphia Endocrine Society is the oldest “endocrine club” in the country. With a membership from the tri-state region, the Society holds eight meetings a year ending in May with a history of Philadelphia endocrinology by one of the regions eminent emeriti endocrinologists and presentations by the endocrine fellows.
The highlight of the year is the annual endocrine symposium held in November at the Four Seasons Hotel, which in previous years featured internationally recognized endocrinologists John Bilezikian, Andrea Dunaif, Gary Foster and Xavier Pi-Sunyer.
Endocrinologists from throughout the region are invited to join and participate in our educational activities for health care professionals, students and the general public. Continuing medical education credits are available to its physician membership.
